PPWO Files Comments with OMB Requesting Overtime Final Rule Be Rescinded

On May 12, the Partnership to Protect Workplace Opportunity (PPWO) filed comments with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requesting the agency rescind the Department of Labor’s overtime final rule. OMB issued its request for information in April to solicit ideas from the public for deregulation.

As our comment explains, if kept in effect, the Biden-era overtime rule would create “unnecessary uncertainty, additional regulatory and administrative burdens, inflationary pressures, and diminished flexibility.”
